A crow wanted to be friends with a rat. So he met the rat and told him about his intentions. The rat was reluctant and said that he was food for the crow. But the crow promised to be a true friend. The rat agreed. One day, the crow said that due famine, people were catching birds. So he had decided go to the forest to his friend the turtle. The rat said that he too would go. But he could not fly and asked the crow to carry him on his back. Soon, they started their journey and reached the lake. The turtle was happy to see the crow and to also meet the rat. They all lived happily together in the forest.
Moral: The company of good friends leads to a contended life.
